| The evaluations took place at Perth
College on Thursday 13th August 2009 in the Scottish Butchers Traditional
Steak Pie and Speciality Steak Pie Competitions. Among the 18 judges
were Radio Tay presenters (top right) Maureen Young from the Ally
and Mo Show and Stuart Webster from Tay FMs Wake
up with Webster.
Everyone had a great time tasting the
pies but entrants will have to wait until the beginning of October for the
results. During the interim period pies will be mystery shopped and
judgement made to establish the regional winners and overall champion from
pies as bought across the counter in the contenders shops. |
