Competition, sponsored by Lucas Ingredients, identifies the best Pork Sausage in Scotland to be that from the Scottish Borders village of St Boswells
Winner of the 2009 Scottish Pork Sausage Champion was Craig Douglas of JC Douglas, St Boswells.

Craig won the South East of Scotland title and went on to beat the rest of an entry of over 100 pork sausages from all over Scotland. He was presented with his trophy by Steve Derrick of sponsors, Lucas Ingredients.

Winner of the 2009 North of Scotland Scottish Pork Sausage Champion was John M Munro, Dingwall, Kenny Gillanders collected the certificate.  John M Munro are the reigning Beef Sausage Scottish Champions.

Congratulations and special mention must go to Scott Carson from Dalbeattie who successfully defended his South West title and now holds the South West Scotland titles for Pork Sausages, Beef Sausages and Sliced Sausage. Not that Scott really appreciated all that because he went on to be crowned Scottish Haggis Champion on Sunday 10th May 2009 as well!
